We are “A Christian Publishing Company” located in Humble, Texas, working with local authors to help make their inspiring creations become a reality.

Our projects include inspirational books, devotionals, cookbooks and coloring books for those wanting to publish books to sell or gift them to others. We also work with charities looking for great fundraisers or causes to brand their message and information inside to help spread the word. All publishing projects must be pre-approved and as our schedule allows.

Some of our cookbooks are donated to our ministries, such as the “1st Responders Appreciation Ministry” where the 1st Responders (both Firefighters and Police Officers) in the community contribute to the cookbook and, in turn, receive a gift copy of their own.

To find out more about our services, our ministries or to discuss your next publishing project (to see if we’re a good fit), email Carmen at carmen@penworth.com or give us a call at 713-851-2125.

...about us
Donald and Carmen for BC.jpg

Donald Wisenbaker – after 42 years as an engineer, he retired from Baker Hughes which was located in Houston, Texas. He now spends his time driving his wife around on projects they work on together. They mostly do volunteer work with their church, charities, and various ministries in their community. Donald was born and raised in a little town called Humble, Texas, and still resides there to this day. He has been married to Carmen since 1990 and they love to spend time together fellowshipping with those they love.

Carmen Wisenbaker – now semi-retired, is the owner of Penworth Publishing, which was founded in 2001. Prior to owning her own business, her career experience in the publishing industry spanned more than 30 years. She still enjoys publishing various projects for profit (on a part-time basis), but also likes to donate some projects that involve her ministry work. She thoroughly enjoys cooking, fun graphic design and publishing projects, volunteering, gathering with friends and family, and spending time with her hubby, (as she fondly calls him, her Dreamy "D"). She was born and raised in a much smaller town just north of Humble – called Porter, Texas. So, they both consider themselves “country” folks!
